Meet Dr. CC

Many people ask me where I came up with the business name of Dr. C.C. It comes from the fact that I work in the medical field as an x-ray technologist and my initials are C. C. for Chuck Canterbury. Thus... Dr. C.C.

Since establishing my business in 1985, I have been providing quality musical entertainment for all kinds of events including weddings and receptions, birthdays, anniversaries and all kinds of private parties.

The combination of nearly 25 years of experience, age and maturity, the best professional sound equipment and an extensive knowledge of all kinds of music with a vast library, assures you of a quality professional performance for your event.

My primary focus has always been on the quality of my service. Being the owner and DJ ensures the quality. I bring over 50,000.....yes, 50 THOUSAND computerized selections to each job.

My experience goes back to the early 50's when I started my musical library. I now have a collection of over 50,000 selections and more added every month.

I started my mobile DJ Service in Modesto in 1988 donating my services to such organizations as the ARC (Association for Retarded Citizens), Rotary Club and the 20-30 Club.

Music requests are a specialty.

I'm a member in good standing of the American Disc Jockey Association, a nationwide association of professional DJs and fully insured.
